Motivational Work Preparation Training
bodyimageWe deliver our employment workshops to disabled job seekers. Our workshops are motivational in tone and practical in content. The emphasis is on individuals taking personal responsibility to help themselves. Job seekers are encouraged to take a business-minded approach to gaining employment and realise what a competitive labour market requires from applicants.
Often this sensitive, yet challenging approach produces a ‘light bulb’ moment for disabled job seekers. Even the most reluctant or under-confident job seeker is buzzing when they leave and returns to job searching with a renewed enthusiasm.
We often couple our motivational employment workshop with on-going mentoring.
“I attended Steph’s event a few months back and found it very inspiring and thought provoking. As a result of this I took up her offer of continued telephone mentoring. At the time, my law exams were approaching and I was in need of a mentor to offer me a helping hand. Steph’s positive energy and inspiring words always seemed to uplift me during stressful periods in my revision. She was very positive, which encouraged me to feel more positive. She also offered some very good practical tips and suggestions to make my revision more effective. I subsequently went on to pass my exams and definitely feel that Steph contributed immensely to my success. I now feel more confident about job searching.”
