Making Lemonade contributed to the DRC's Leadership Strategy by delivering two Master Classes, 'Drivers of Leadership' and 'Present Yourself as a Leader', over two consecutive years to leaders and aspiring leaders at forums across the country.
"It isn't just the array of colourful shoes that marks out Steph as a confident and impressive speaker and facilitator, but it is also her compelling and lively style that engages people"
"She was ideal for encouraging and advising other disabled people how to make an impact, presenting and integrating themselves with energy and having the confidence to break free from entrenched negativity arising from their impairment.
Steph has an accomplished understanding of business and disability issues and can be challenging and trusted to deliver with versatility, whilst also being fun to work with.
The DRC contracted with Steph because she isn't typical of disability equality consultants and trainers: she brings a fresh and realistic approach, drawing on her fashion background, enabling her to effectively embrace the business perspective, alongside her personal experience of disabling barriers. Steph showed others that making a difference happens when you are proactive, rather than waiting for the world around you to change.
This probably makes Steph sound quite intimidating, but not so, as she has the charm and acumen needed for effective networking and communicating with others."
